New: Aluminum Fence Panel On-Center Calculator (Free Tool)

New from GreatFence®

We’ve launched a free Aluminum Fence Panel On-Center Spacing Calculator as a guide that returns the typical post-to-post on-center measurement (center-to-center distance) for your panel—based on three inputs:

  • Grade (e.g., Residential, Commercial, Industrial)
  • Fence panel width (e.g., 6 ft, 7 ft, 8 ft)
  • Post size (e.g., 2"×2", 2.5"×2.5", 3"×3")

The result reflects the typical measurement for that combination so your layout and quoting align with GreatFence product specs. When ordering aluminum fence panels, it's recommended to round up for each fence run in your barrier so that you have enough product to complete the installation. Our aluminum fence panel widths can be easily trimmed on-site using any metal blade saw. Adjustments in your, specific on center measurement(s) must be made on-site when racking the panel(s) for slight, medium or steep slopes.

How to use it

  1. Select your grade, then select the panel width and post size.
  2. Copy the calculated on-center spacing for your plan or quote.
