Standard & TRUClose gate hinges are packaged separately; easily installed on-site. You decide during installation: a) which gate post to hinge off of, and b) the swing trajectory of the gate (90 degrees max).
HEAVY DUTY gate hinges allows the gate to swing both ways and are required for gate automation.

TruClose Heavy Gate Hinges (spring loaded and self closing) are not attached to your gate at the factory; they are packaged separately. You decide, on-site which direction the gate will swing (90 degrees max). Not for use with gate automation products.
Heavy Duty Gate Hinges (not spring loaded) allow 2-way swinging and are required for gate automation. Requires 4″ x 4″ gate posts (sold separately). Scroll down this page to download our specification pdf. You can also column mount your gate with Heavy Duty Gate Hinges (anchors not included). .
