This is a great product to be used along with another product / accessory of ours, the Panic Bar, which is a gate lock for walk gates. Many of our customers call us and need a gate for a school or a building or a hospital whereby they want the gate locked but, at the same time, they also need the gate to be opened only on one side of the gate for emergency exiting from the property.
Calculations
We can pretty much weld anywhere on your fence panel or gate. When ordering expanded metal, the critical calculation is your ‘Quantity’. Well, you’re not really ordering quantity as much as you’re ordering the amount of expanded metal you want on your barrier products.
To calculate your ‘Quantity’, simply multiply the width by height of your fence panel or gate, and enter that umber in the ‘Quantity’ box above. For example, if you’re covering the bottom 2 feet of a 6-foot-wide fence panel, you simply multiply the width by height. So, 2 X 6 = 12. Enter 12 in the ‘Quantity’ box above.
For arched and estate gates, ADD 1 TO YOUR HEIGHT variable. For example, a 48″ wide x 48″ high gate + sunburst arch, will produce the following calculation, 4 X 5 = 20. Enter 20 in the ‘Quantity’ box.
