May is officially National Water Safety Month, an awareness campaign that we’re committed to speaking out about. Hosted by the NDPA (the National Drowning Prevention Association), National Water Safety Month spreads critical information about drowning prevention and encourages the use of pool fencing as a proven method of prevention.

Want to spread the word? Why not become a member of the NDPA? For $50 ($25 for students) your money goes directly to support drowning prevention, which is not as simple as it may sound. As ndpa.org states “drowning prevention is a complex public health issue requiring a multi-faceted approach through community education, scientific research & data, effective policy & codes, safety products, safety practices, and family support.” We at GreatFence.com can’t think of a better way celebrate National Water Safety Month than by becoming a part of this worthy cause.
