When you’ve completed the general shape of your fence, it’s time to add gaps for things like buildings, trees, water features or other obstacles. You’ll do this by placing posts () on either side of the obstacle and then removing the unneeded fence between the two posts.
Carefully select a line of fencing and double-click to drop a post on one side of the obstacle. Select the line again and double-click to drop a post on the other side of the obstacle.
