Can residential panels be connected to commercial posts?

Answer: YES and NO

First, Residential Posts are available in 2″ x 2″ and 2.5″ x 2.5″ sizes and have been structurally tested for all residential fence panel and gate scenarios; therefore, there is no need to purchase larger 3″ x 3″ or 4″ x 4″ posts for Residential Fence Panels or Residential Gates.

Furthermore, we do not factory route 3×3 or 4×4 line, corner, end or “T” posts for residential fence panel horizontal rail insertion.

Solution:

Order 3×3 / 4×4 Blank (non-routed) Posts + Residential Mounts. With this work-around, you will “mount” all of your residential fence panels (vs. inserting them) to the larger posts using our Straight, Horizontal and Vertical mounts.
