Fence Calculation Tutorial- the Simple Angle

Example #1

a very, very slight angle up to approximately 10 degrees

Purchase:
3 – 6′ wide standard fence panels
(trim to fit on-site)
2 – Line Post
2 – End posts
You don’t need horizontal swivel mounts for slight turns (up to 10 degrees), you can still insert and set your panel to post connections using line posts, corner posts, end posts…etc.

Automatically included:
Standard Post Caps for all posts
(unless you upgrade to post ball caps or solar post lights)
Stainless steel fence panel to post (painted head) connection screws; 1 for each rail to post connection.

Purchase Locally:
Cement for in-ground posts, or
Anchor bolts for mounting welded plated posts.

one simple angle approximately 35 degrees

(trim to fit on-site; rackable panels can be installed straight or racked)
1 – Line Post
1 – Blank Post (connect swivel mounts here)
2 – End posts Horizontal Swivel Mounts
4 – vertical swivel mounts for 2 rail panel
6 – vertical swivel mounts for 3 rail panel
8 – vertical swivel mounts for 4 rail panel


Automatically included:

2 additional screws for each swivel mount

4 – vertical swivel mounts for 2 rail panel
6 – vertical swivel mounts for 3 rail panel
8 – vertical swivel mounts for 4 rail panel
NOTE: We do not carry a mount that accommodates a vertical and horizontal connection all at one connection point. You will have to make an on-site modification whereby you shim the mount to post connection.
