Horizontal Swivel Mounts sold separately. Barriers up to 6 foot high should use posts cemented 2 feet into the ground. 7′ and 8′ high barriers — 3 feet into the ground. Always check your local building codes.
Order these posts 3 inches longer than the height of your fence. This leaves approx. two inches of space between the fence panel / gate and the ground. Anchors to be purchased locally based upon the material you’re mounting to. For slight terrain variations, shim the post/plate. For medium/steep slopes over a hard surface, purchase with no plate and core drill. Posts with welded plates added are not available for fence panels or gates above 7 feet high.
