Barriers up to 6 foot high should use posts cemented 2 feet into the ground. 7′ and 8′ high barriers — 3 feet into the ground. Always check your local building codes.

Order 3 inches longer than the height of your fence panel/gate. This leaves approx. two inches of space between the fence panel / gate and the ground).
